Kimberly Drake Bio - CCVSpokane, WA
As Founding President and Executive Director for CCV Spokane, Kimberly Drake provides the vision and direction of the organization and leads the efforts of the Victim Assistance Program, Education and Training Programs and Pursuing the Hidden Heart Small Group Training.
Mrs. Drake serves as our key spokesperson and handles media and public relations. She effectively presents the vision of the organization and its focus on pornography and its resulting harms. She has been interviewed by national and local media and speaks from personal experience regarding the secondary harmful effects of addiction to pornography. Some of the publications include Charisma Magazine, The AFA Journal and Citizen Magazine. In addition she regularly speaks on national radio programs. These have included Concerned Women of America, Beverly LaHaye Today, American Family Radio, and Courageous Living, hosted by Dr. Gary Gulbransen.
Mrs. Drake has begun to share her story on college campuses throughout the country, providing a unique perspective. She has recently been invited into the Spokane public schools. She shares frequently with churches, youth ministries, and retreat gatherings. Mrs. Drake offers her testimony and message of grace and redemption and effectively ministers to the victims whose lives have been harmed by pornography.
In addition, city councils and county commissioners have effectively utilized her inside view and personal testimony as it relates to the sexually oriented business industry to assist in passing ordinances and legislation. Thus, substantially restricting the operations of sexually oriented businesses throughout the state of Washington.
Kimberly is available to speak to groups of all kinds and various venues. Please read the following guidelines. Occasionally, a group of organizations can pool resources and share time enabling a larger number of people to benefit from her visit to a city.
