Hi,

I'm interested in becoming a member of your society to continue my research
into some of my ancestors from Singleton. I'm from Sydney but I'd like to
plan a visit, perhaps for early next year, to make use of your library and
perhaps other resources as well.

Would you be able to send me a brief outline of the records your library has
(specifically local records that would not be found easily elsewhere)? I am
aware of the research enquiry serive you provide, but if possible I'd like
to do the researching myself. Specifically my family arrived in 1841 and
settled at a property called New Freugh- I'd be interested mainly in records
up to 1910 or so.

I know this may seem like a broad enquiry, but I'd really like to be able to
plan my visit in advance, and I have no idea what I might be looking at. I
was also wondering if you (or someone else) could tell me what other records
I might find in Singleton that would not be elsewhere (locations of Parish
records, court records, etc.). If someone has time, this would be a good
addition to your website.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give,

Alison Fernandes
