Elijah Drake Born Ca. 1800 in nj or conn. I have traced him to 1850 Allegheny co pa.
Elijah 49
Rhuamma 49
Margret Goslin 17
He is next found 1870 Hoching co., Ohio
Elijah 68
Margret 36
Elijah 19
Ruamma 15
Sarah 13
George 10
Margret 8
Elizabeth 5
Ellen 3
At first glance it appears Elijah split from his first wife with a pregnant Margret but he names his first born daughter after her. Family lore states he was the oldest brother of the man whom drilled the first oil well in Titisville Pa. I dont think that pans out. Family also stated his wifes name to be Margret Mallacy. I believe the Mallacy name to fit in but dont know how.Older family members stated they went to a Drake Family reunion in Pa and refered to themselves as the lost wing of the Drake Family. I NEED HELP. I have been on this one for 20 years on and off
