The Shelbyville Republican Thursday November 2, 1950 Page 4 column 2 ------- DEATH CLAIMS HARRY DRAKE Week's Illness Fatal To Farmer; Rites Wednesday ------- (Monday, October 30) Harry O. Drake, Brandywine township farmer, died at his home this morning at 2:30 o'clock after a week's illness. He was 61 years of age. Born in Hancock county on September 26, 1889, Mr. Drake had resided in Shelby county since boyhood. He was the son of Albert and Ina (Akeman) Drake. On March 1, 1916, he was married to Beatrice Robinson who survives with a son and a daughter, William Drake of Shelby county, and Mrs. Preston Ferguson of this city. Also surviving are two grandchildren. Funeral services at 2:00 p.m. in the Ewing Mortuary, Rev. Roscoe M. Wolverton will officiate and interment will be in Forest Hill cemetery.
