Good Morning Roy,

I hope you don't mind my email, I found you on a message site about Singleton and saw your post about having 3000 pictures in your .

My name is Annette Ross and my mother is Ann Patricia Bourke, (Pat.)
Mum's family lived in Singleton her father was Ted Bourke and her mother, Margaret Bourke.
She had 1 sister, Mary and three brothers, Jim, Pat & Sonny.

Mum's father was awarded the DCM in WW1, and her brother Sonny went missing in Korea, which is the reason for my research. When I came across your post, I thought maybe you may have some pictures of her family in your , or at least some old newspaper cuttings, of Ted winning the DCM. They lost all of their belongings in the floods, as well as all of their photo's. I recently found a picture of Sonny in the War Memorial , but sadly no photo's of my Grandfather.. Who I didn't know as he died before I was born.

I would very much appreciate any help you may be able to give me

Annette Ross
