I am a descendant of James Bellamy and Hannah Singleton. Their son Zadok (married to Miriam) was my Great Grandfather. He in turn had many children of which two sons were my GrandFathers, Alfred and Oswald Moore (aka Arthur Oswald). My mother, Gilian Bellamy was the daughter of Alfred and my father, Joseph Zadok, was the elder son of Oswald Moore (aka Arthur Oswald). I have two sons, Mark Joseph and James Andrew Bellamy.

Hello All Bellamy Descendants I believe that a book that will give you some more info would be "The Settlers of West Pennant Hills Valley 1799 Onwards" If you haven't already got it or read it. I am a descendant of the Shield's Family also from that area and also related to the Bellamy's I have purchased the book to help me fill in some gaps that we have in our family's history, so I believe this book may also help you all (even in a small way). The book can be purchased from the Hills District Historical Society for $15.00 (according to there Web page). So I hope this has been of some help to you ALL!!!!
Best of luck and happy hunting :-)

Hello thought the Bellamy clan would like to know we live in "Bellamy Homestead" (99 Castle Hill Road West Pennant Hills) built in 1880 by James Bellamy , a good website is "Australian Royalty "for them and has a photo of the family in 1890 outside our house, feel free ask me about it , Wendy Humphreys

Like many of you I am a descendent through the Bellamy and Singleton families. Brothers John and James Bellamys children married (James Bellamy and Ann Bellamy were 1st cousins. )They had John Thomas Bellamy who married Susannah Hockley. They had a daughter Isabella Amy Bellamy who married Alfred Arthur Allen who then had a daughter Mona Allen who was my grandmother. Fairly new to this but is so fascinating.
