Isaac Jacobs's death is recorded by the NSW Registrar as follows;
6685/1872 aged 47 years in the District of Tambaroora.
Could this be the Isaac Jacobs who was a soldier in the 1/11th North Devon Regiment. He was on garrison duty in NSW and is recorded as having chosen to remain in Australia when his Regiment returned to England in 1857.
The age shown on his burial detail (mentionsd above) would fit the man that I am researching.
Your help wopuld be much appreciated.
