I am one of Anna Alvina Scherf granddaughters. She did marry Elias Jasper Saywell. If you want to know more about the Scherf family history contact ? Strasser whose email address is: tdstrass@bigpond.net.au. There is to be a Scherf family reunion at Glen Innes in March2005. You can obtain details from Strasser!s email address. My name was Elizabeth Saywell born in Grafton NSW.

Margaret Wiley was my Grandmother's sister. Is there any one there who can give me the names of any children of Lewis and Alma? Happy to share any info from my branch.

Hello all,
I stumbled onto this website by chance. I am the keeper of the Scherf family tree as my wife is a Scherf descendant. Most of the research was originally done by Doug Peterson (descendant of Alvina Scherf) who passed the baton to me in 2000. We now have an extensive family tree on MyHeritage.com which is available to family members. Entry is through application to me from the website. Some of the questions above can be answered with information we have. Happy to receive inquiries.
