I am looking for any Drakes in Rotherhithe or thereabouts in London, UK. I am back to circa 1840's with my family tree and wonder if anyone can add anything.

I have at least two Drakes in the early 1800s in Whitechapel - Sophia and Elizabeth - can anyone connect them up?

My Great Aunt, Amelia Matilda Wood married Edward Drake at St. Mary Newington in November 1892. Amelia was 24, Edward was 22, the son of William and Ann. William was a Wood Turner and Edward was a Wood Engraver.

Amelia and Edward had one son, also Edward, age 6, when the 1901 census was taken.

Does anyone recognize this family?

the other thing to do is join Barb Marshalls great Drake List. Instructions are at;
