This Company left Hopkinsville, KY, Feb. 6, 1862, marched to Clarksville, Tenn 30 miles, took steamboats there for Fort Donelson; engaged in fight Feb. 13, 14, and 15th, and suffered severely, having 15 killed and wounded.

The remains of 1,616 Confederate prisoners of war who died at Camp Morton in Indianapolis during the Civil War were originally buried in Greenlaw Cemetery. In 1931, their remains were reburied in Crown Hill Cemetery. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has records for only 957. |
