Hi.Roy,
My name is Les Bottles I live in Canberra and am trying to research my Family History
my Mother was Doreen May Bottles (nee Aberley) my Grandfather was Leslie Alexander
Emmanuel Aberley, his father John Charles Aberley (or Johann Karl Aberle),do you have
any information on your Karl Johann Aberle.
Your Karl Johann Aberle is the closest I have come to finding out anything about my
Great Grandfather,we think he must have changed his name from Johann Karl Aberle
to John Charles Aberley sometime after arriving here,I have his Naturalization Papers
which saya he was naturalized in1857 in South Australia.
He married Annie Colwill at Kaniva Victoria ,in 1894.
The only other info I have about him is his children,my Grandfather plus two sisters
Claire May and Ivy Augusta.
If my Johann (John) is your Karl Johann could you please return my email with what
ever you may have.I would be pleased with anything,any clue to his History.

Thanks for your reply,the only name I have is what is on his Naturalization Papers
Klein-kniegnits Lilesia, Prussia.
Maybe he's not one of yours,is there any where you could suggest I could look,I also
know he lived in Blumberg ,which is in South Australia, and frustratingly I cant access
South Australian Births Deaths & Marriages files like I can in NSW.

HI, my name is Venda and my maiden name was Aberle. My fathers name was Frederick Ernest Aberle, his father was Frederick John Aberle, we think he may have changed it from Fredrik Ernst because of the war at the time. I wonder if you have heard of him in any of your searching. My cousin Digby went to Germany a few years ago to see if he could track the family down with little success, he said he will go back in a couple of years and knock on all the church doors in Stuttgart to see if he can find out any info. Hi Vendaian, sorry about the late response.
The Aberle family that ties into my Bauer line comes from a small villlage called Dettenhausen near Tubingen Baden Germany. You will most probably find that it is also a pretty common name over there. Maybe join the Aberle mail list or something like that. |
