I have a record of arrival around 1909 but can't confirm a lot don't know
where they arrived but they settled in Nandaly Victoria ,
I don't know where to go may be you can help

Hello Roz. I found Anastasia's Australian Naturalisation data in the National Archive of Australia.Barcode # 31518013. It tells you the name of the ship she immigrated on was S.S. Konigen Luise and disembarked at the Port of Melbourne on 14/11/1909. Anastasia was born in Schildberg - refer Myers Ortz web site. Carl died on 24 October, 1926 in Nandaly. Carl Robert born on 22/02/1878 in Peterswalde -not Peterswalden as written. Check Myers Ortz again because there are 6 villages he could have been born in that are either in East or West Prussia. All you need to do is check the church books from these 6 villages on the date in 1878 and you have the right Carl Robert Neumann. Good luck!! |
