I'm interested in the Bouffier family. They were originally BUFFIERs from Germany and settled around Maitland. Heinrich Buffier changed his name on naturalisation in 1866 to Bouffier. His son, Martin Bouffier born in the 1850s became a councilman in Singleton. I understand a picture of him and other councilmen used to hang in the town hall. I have a scan of that photo.

His family had vineyards and a winery in the Hunter valley.

Would be very pleased to hear from anybody with an interest in the family or associated families (Smith, Bridge, McGrane, Galvin).
