Hi Roy,
I'm new to this, but I would like to join the discussion groups as well as the Singleton Family History society, as I'm trying to locate information on my GGrandmothers faimily, O'Brien, I have very little to go on, her name was Susan O'Brien born in 1857 in Singleton, the daughter of John O'Brien, Blacksmith...thats it, no record of her birth in the BDM records, the only other thing I know is the she had an illegitmate child in 1878, William Porters O'Brien (father was William Henry Tolhurst)
Please let me know what I need to do, I would like to make a trip to Singleton if it is an easier way to get involved
