people randomly in an attempt to find a relative I thought it wise to
ask you. I would appreciate any help you could offer.

Hi just found this site. My mum has just done some research and we randomly found your site. She has ships' records for Daniel McNulty born 1783 in County Mayo, Ireland and Catherine Curran born in Cork, Ireland. They both arrived in Sydney in 1809 on the convict ships Boyd (for Daniel) and Experiment II (for Catherine). They married in 1814. Their children were Daniel, Catherine, Margaret and Jane. Margaret McNulty married John Doyle, their daughter Mary Elizabeth Doyle married Michael Lawler, their son Frederick Samual Lawler married Henrietta Boyd, their son Kenneth Charles Lawler married Nellie Cleary, and they had my mum Sandra. My parents now live in Newcastle.

There is a story in today's Washington Post about a VA cemetery worker in RI who stole gravestones to make a carport floor. A photo in the story shows a stone for Daniel J. McNulty, Jr., 1921-2005, a private in WW2. Not a known relative of mine, but a shock went through me to see this. The cemetery worker is scheduled for sentencing later this summer. .washingtonpost.com/blogs/federal-eye/wp/2015/07/14/how-more-than-150-headstones-for-veterans-graves-were-plundered-to-build-the-floor-of-a-carport/?hpid=z6
