Is there anyone interested in the Nord family. My GGGrandmother was Emma Hannah Nord who married Henry L Hooker. |

My great grand mother was Caroline Nord, an older sister of Emma Hannah Nord.
I have made contact with another Nord relative who is related to Emma Hannah Nord. |

While doing a google search on the name Hannah Nord, I came across the
Singleton Family History Web site, where an anonymous person had posted a
message regarding the Hooker and Nord family. This message was posted on 4
December 2002. I replied to this message, on Friday April 2, 2004. As the
original message was 16 months old the person may have changed email
address's
Is there any way that you could find out who the anonymous person is and
put them in touch with me.

Hi Howards and thanks for the message, I can't help you out either. I hate
it when people use "anonymous" for their posting - it makes life a pain for
others like yourself.
Maybe contact the Singleton Family History Society at Singleton.
The society is manned by a collection of very keen volunteers and they have
so many records there at the society room. Possibly records there on your
Nord and Hooker family.

Thanks for your email, I will contact the Singelton FH Society.
It amazes me why people use anonymous when they are researching family, how
do they expect to find "living people" when they keep themselves in the
dark.

Hello I am also a decendant of David Hooker. He is my GGGG Grandfather. I have not got information on the Nord family though. I too am related to both the HORNE and HOOKER families of Singleton. I would love to contact any members of the family and exchange any info i have. Sorry i dont have any info on David and Maria Hooker either, They are my GGGrandparents.

My Husband is a ggrandson of John Vinal Whiteman, Maria's youngest brother. My research has only gone as far as recognising the Hooker / Whiteman connection but I would be very excited to have contact with other family members.

Hi,
David Hooker and Maria Whiteman are my 3 x great grandparents. The only info I have is from BDM records (David and Maria's marriage as well as Maria's 2 other marriages). I would greatly appreciate any stories or photos of them or their daughter Maria Elizabeth Hooker.
