My name is Roy Andrews.
I run genealogy resources from my website and also host the Singleton FHS site as well. Just recently I received an email from a Joe Cruise who lives in Liverpool, UK. He quotes "and i wish to trace a PTE, L, D,WILLIAMSOM. FROM SINGLETON is there any way you can help." Joe was over in France and he found the Pte's
dog tag on DEAD MANS WALK in POZIERES on the SOMME.
Joe was hopeing he has a son or grandson still living and would like to see a photo of the man.
Could be a great story for your Argus - possibly relatives still in the district.
