I enjoyed reading your Andrews family history and note a mention of Thomas ADAWAY as being in charge of the stone work of St Clements, Falbrook.
I am interested in the ADAWAY surname, particularly connected to the Singleton area. Do you have any information on John Adaway who married Mary Jane Theresa Hume at Gunnedah in 1878.
I am researching my husband's family tree.

I've just read the posting for Meredith Smith re: the Adaway family from Singleton area. I don't have any information directly relating to John and Mary Jane. But I do have a little on who I believe is their daughter Cora. With the last name Smith she may even have it. I can email Meredith or you can pass on my email address.

Hi, I am looking for any relatives of John Adaway and Mary Jane nee Hume? I am a great granddaughter of Eva Mary Adaway who was a daughter of John and Mary Jane. I would dearly love to make contact with anyone who can help me trace my roots. I know I have 'family' in Singleton/Gunnedah somewhere!!
