I am just touching base with you and hoping that perhaps you could direct me to the people who helped do the Gibbs lineage on your excellent Andrews family record.
I am researching my husband’s family and find that his great-grandmother Frances/Fanny Fortescue (nee Foster) married Thomas Wilson. For each, it was their second marriage. Thomas was the son of Emma (nee Gibbs) and Thomas Wilson and Emma was the daughter of John Gibbs and Susanna (nee Case) who apparently came on the Woodbridge. My husband is descended from Fanny’s first marriage, so there is no blood relationship between him and the Wilson/Gibbs families. But we are interested in the relationship and the history anyway. I checked the Queanbeyan phone directory and could not identify the William Gibbs who apparently helped put your documents together.
It would be interesting to hear from anyone who is still researching Wilson/Gibbs and perhaps I have some documents and photographs relating to Fanny which would be of interest to them.
