Dear Carolyn, Brian, Greg, & Roy,
My name is Darci Gibbs-Nunez. I am researching my Gr-Gr-Grandfather John Robert Gibbs. According to US census info., John was born about 1831, somewhere in England (no shire, town or county was listed). He came to the US around 1875, with an Anna or Hanna Hendley/Handley & her daughter Annie. They settled in Nebraska. John's parents may have been William & Jane Wood-Gibbs. John was a sailor & supposedly sailed with the British navy. Please let me know if there may be a connection to your Gibbs line/research. Please forgive me if I have contacted you previously.
