Hello
I stumbled upon your webpage and huge family tree today while fishing for
connections to the Spearing/Speering family that I am researching. I see
that a Mavis J Williams born 13/8/1928 at Warialda, married a Rex Speering
on 26/2/1949. Can you tell me anything about this man. The family I am
seeking came from the Tenterfield/Stanthorpe area and the name has been
spelt both ways on different siblings birth certificates. In particular I
am looking for a William Speering/Spearing and his mother Mary Ann Spearing.
There was also an Albert and an Arthur, Louisa born in Stanthorpe and two
other girls, Cecilia and Florence.
The mother was born around 1849 and I can find no references to her apart
from her childrens' birth certificates.
