Joe and Pearl Rose lived in the early 1900's at Webbs Creek on the Upper Hawkesbury. I understand they took in children who were Wards of the State.
In 1918-1919 my Aunts were taken in as Wards by a family in the Webb Creek area. Their Surname was TINKER and there were 5 girls all of school age.
It is said they were very well cared for.
Are there any relatives of Joe and Pearl who may-be could assist me in solving this problem or better still know where the records for Joe and Pearls care of children are held. |
