I am trying to locate any information on the York Family of Singleton in the 1800's to the 1900's.
One York in particular, it is Henry York who was
the Mayor of Singleton, about the 1880's I think.
Other York Families are Charles Gerald, Eric Francis York, Eric Lloyd York, Charles Reginald York, or any others that were connected to these families. |

My family came to morpeth in 1848 as blacksmiths then moved to cessnock and surrounding areas. can trace back to leaving from northhampton for australia. my last name is york and i am a distant relative of richard of york (richard the 3rd)let me know if useful |
