Hi my name is Diane Sprague, and I have been researching the 'sprague' name also. My husband's family came from Gwennup cornwall, dating back to John Sprague m Lucie (Loar Thomas) 1712. I have found all the family names in Devon and Dorset and it appears from the info I have that a number of the spragues appeared in Beeralston. I would love to hear from you. My husband is a descendant from a John Sprague who originally arrived in S.A. (unfortunately have not been able to find the ship he came on)...Hoping to hear from you...Diane (Croydon Victoria) |
