One of my cousins Mary Elizabeth Pilkington (nee Saltinstall) married Ronald Pilkington in Nottingham, England in 1945. At some time after this they emigrated to Australia (probably Queensland). Their daughter Vicky (I think born in Australia) married Roy Leonard Hill of Queensland. The only child that I know of was Andrew Roy Hill. The Pilkington's son Michael married Elizabeth Leather and they had 2 children Amanda & Jason. Any news relating to these families would be welcome. |

Posted on April 15, 2004 Roy Thanks for your e-mail. Yes I had taken note of the website that you have shown. It was just that I was interested in the family connection, like when and why did the Pilkingtons go to Australia, what direct descendents are still alive over there and any other such information. I did try to send an e-mail to the Hill web address stated on the site but it was returned with the address not being found.
