Hi! I had an ancestor, William Henry Woods, who migrated from UK to Sydney around 1900. He was born in Islington Middlesex in 1877? I have more family details. Is he the one in your tree, the father of Ernest Albert Woods? Stuart Woods Bendigo |

Hi Stuart and thanks for your message re Woods family. I have no idea about the Woods family, I think they lived in the Singleton district of the Hunter Valley and married into my Andrews family, regards, Roy |

The William Woods in this instance was born in NSW in 1847 to James and Sarah. He married twice, Mary Aynsley in 1870 and Charlotte Atkins in 1892. He had twelve children, six to each wife. He died in 1930 and is buried at Sedgefield Cemetery. |
