Researching Drake surname. My grandparents migrated from Missouri to Los Angeles county some time after 1910. Later they lived in San Bernardino. John Otis Drake and Ida Carnahan Drake -- children were Fern, Vivian, and Otto (a.k.a. Bud Henry). My grandfather owned a gas station in Colton or Fontana not sure exactly when, but I do have photographs that were taken of it in 1926, Drake's Service. |
