My father's half sister (not a Drake) married an unrelated Drake, Clarence Clifford Drake, in OK.

The earliest I've found in his line is William Ellis Drake, born about 1814 in Burke Co., GA.
He had a son, William L. Drake, born about 1848 in GA. William L. married Rachel L. Oglesby, 20 Sep. 1864 in Emanuel Co., GA.

They had a son, Thomas Andrew Drake, born March 1868, perhaps in Emanuel Co., GA. Tom married Anne (son's SSDI) or Nancy (TX marriage records) Powell.
Source: T. A. Drake - Nancey E. Powell 15 Oct 1890 Anderson Texas marriages.

Tom was killed in the coal mines in Pittsburg Co., OK. 6 Nov. 1911. He left 2 children, Bertha and Clarence Clifford, found living with him in 1900 Chickasaw Territory with his brothers-in-law and widowed mother-in-law, Mary, the Powell family of Texas and Georgia. Clarence returned to TX to be reared by a foster father, Mr. White, of Sweetwater, Nolan Co., TX, relationship unknown. Mr. White was still there between 1936 and 1938. Clarence was born 1 Sept. 1895 in Whitt, Parker Co., TX (SSDI)

Bertha can't be located but she was alive in the 1930's, according to oldest family member, and living in IL. No one remembers her married name. Clarence married LeOla Williams (took Drake as surname when her widowed mother married William Joe Drake) in OK, 1921. They divorced and Clarence died 1970 in Allegheny Co., Pa.
