Have a rather large pastoral painting of a sheperd, his sheep dog and his flock in an old (1700 or 1800's) English(?) setting in mostly green hues. Signed "Drake". Painting is likely early 20th century, although may be slightly older. Was acquired in the Cincinnati area in the mid 1950's.
I've tried to search using the Drake name and the word artist, but to no avail. Any ideas who this might be? |
