George Drake, a woodsman, married Rebecca Damon July, 1840 in Bryanston, Dorset. I have the father of George as Thomas Drake and Mary Richards of Puncknowle, Dorset. Anyone have a connection?

Hello Pam. A longshot,I know. I do have a George who was born at Piddletrenthide in 1805. His occupation is unknown, but his father was a Thomas, a shoemaker. George is shown as a brother of Daniel, who in the 19c, is shown as a Timber dealer. Both Puncknowle and Bryanston, are not too far away from the Piddle Valley.
Do you know what year your George was born?
