Hi Roy, I sent you an email earlier today regarding my family name Drake and possible relation. Presently, I wanted to update you on my family surname related to the Drake family. My g grandfather married Ada Maude Drake b. 1877 in East Stonehouse, a descendant of John Drake b 1852(Devonport, Devon, England) married to Emma ? b. 1851(Plymouth, Devon, England). Emmas’s family name still unknown to me. I am presently trying to narrow down John’s parents. Ada Maude Drake married William Cocks b.1861 in Plymouth?.

I am a descendant of a John Drake born approx 1852 and married to Emma ? both in the Devonport, East Stonehouse, Devon area. His father I am yet to confirm I believe is John Drake b.1824 married to Matilda b. 1825 in Topsham, Devon area. Do you have any information that may connect are families which may be one and the same?
