The info I have is... William was born in 1796 in Ashtabula County Ohio. Married Keziah Clay (of Vermont). They settled in Westfield, NY and 'had several children'. The only child I have a name for is Edwin Drake (my ggg-grandfather) who married Eliza Law. I am trying to find out somehing about William's parents. I do have more info on Edwin and the continuation of my family line "after" him if it would be helpful.

Ediwin was my gg grandmothers (Phebe Drake Galloway's)
brother. You can see this in the Galloway /Detrik family tree on ancestry. The 1850 census has Keziah
as head of household. With Edwin and his sister Mary also in the house, 1855 NY census shows Keziah and Mary living in my gg grandfathers (Christopher C Smith) house in NY |
