Hello, I have an old photocopy of Drake Family research written about 25-30 years ago. It traces the Drake family around Staines, Middlesex, England to the present day at the time (c1973) back several hundred years. Happy to help anyone that might be interested. Best Wishes Adam Sparshott |

Hi there Adam and thanks for letting me know that you have info on the Drake family. Would love a copy of the lineage for the Drake website and credit would go to you as the resource. What is your best way to send it to me????? |

Hello, I can either post a photocopy, or arrange to scan the pages and send a cd. The scanning may take a bit longer, but would probably be easier. Please note that there are approx 30-50 A4 pages. The research was done by a member of the drake family who was a distant relative of my grandmother. Best Wishes Adam |

Hello, I have just dug out the papers and found that there are 80 pages of A4 paper. The research was originally carried out by a Stephen J Drake in 1974, but I have never been able to track him down, as my grandmother doesn't remember him. I was wondering if you had heard of him? Using the document, in which I feature, I can trace my ancestors on the Drake side, back to 1170, if it is accurate. Best Wishes Adam |

Hello, Would it be easier, if I transcribed the document into Microsoft Word, or a family tree software, so that I could email the information to you? This would help to save it for future generations, but may take me a while. A nice little project for me... Best Wishes Adam |

Hi there Adam and great to hear from you. That is up to you - a huge project to undertake but much appreciated from a Drake point of view. May be best to do it in MS Word as I'm not sure if all Family Tree programs are compatible. If you still wanted to scan the project I would be able to put it all to MS Word but it would take a while as well. Regards, Roy Andrews Sydney, Australia |

Hello Adam, please get in touch as my husband is a descendant of the Staines Drakes and we have been trying to locate the mystery family researcher. My husband's grandmother was Mary Charlotte Sophie 'Soph' Drake born Bedfont St Mary in 1890 to Chrisopher Elias Drake b Staines 1862 and Charlotte Bodimead. Please contact me on tidbury@tinyworld.co.uk. Thanks, Mary |

Hello, I embarked on the task of transcribing the document covering the Drake Family History mentioned above, but this is going to be too big a task. I think it is going to be easier to scan the document to an Adobe pdf file. This would be approximately 4MB in size. The ones I sent to Mary Tidbury came out well. Regards Adam |
