My family is supposed to be related to the Admiral and I believe that a relative of my grandmother's made the connection when tracing the family tree. Unfortunately he has since passed away and I wasn't able to obtain a copy of his research.
My great-grandfather's name was Francis Drake Parker-Broom (not sure if it's spelt Broome or Broom) and the family (as of the 19th century) lived in Exeter, Devon.
I'd be grateful if you could provide any information that may assist. |
