Robert Dale “Bob” Drake, 76, of Shelbyville, died Sunday, March 3, 2002, at his home.
Born Aug. 16, 1925, in Marietta, s/o Carl R. and Jeanie (Lohman) Drake.
Married Martha Kendall on June 9, 1946, and she survives.
Other survivors include one daughter, Terri Drake of Shelbyville; and two grandsons, Dylan Robert Drake and Delaney Drake, both of Shelbyville.
Preceded in death by three brothers, Wilbur Drake, Earl Drake and Harry Drake, and one sister, Bessie Dover.
Owner of Bob’s Chug-A-Lug and previously was a contractor.
Social member of Knights of Columbus and Sons of the Legion and former member of Eagles Lodge.
Formerly attended Flat Rock Christian Church.
Carmony-Ewing Harrison Street Funeral Home at 819 S. Harrison St., with the Rev. Robert Campbell officiating.
Burial: Miller Cemetery in Shelby County.
