The Shelbyville News October 17, 2000 ---------- Floyd “Bud” Drake, 69, Shelbyville, died Monday at his home. Born Jan. 1, 1931, in Shelbyville, s/o Floyd B. and Ruth (Hageman) Drake. Married Ann Coy and she survives. Farmer and a member of Norristown Farmers Lodge 147. Other survivors include four sons, James Drake and Tom Drake, both of Shelbyville, Jerry Drake, Edinburgh, and Larry Drake, Waldron; five daughters, Karen Hammond and Jennie Chrisman, both of Edinburgh, Janie Burns and Mary Cangany, both of Flat Rock, and Terri Runnebohm, Shelbyville; one brother, Donald Drake, Shelbyville; two sisters, Louise Isley, Flat Rock, and Mae Rose Kessler, Shelbyville; 22 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, one sister and one grandson. Norman Funeral Home, Hope. Burial Patterson Cemetery, Shelby County.
