Pet [Mary L. McCormick], the wife of Charles Drake, died at her home near here Wednesday after an illness of four days. A postmortem disclosed the fact that she died of appendicitis. She leaves four small children besdies her husband and two brothers, Jacob and Peter McCormick, to mourn her untimely death. The funeral services were held July 28th, at Sugar Creek church, after which the remains were laid away in Sugar Creek cemetery.
