A lifelong resident of Kamiah,ID. Delmer G.Drake
passed away 13 Nov.2007 at the Clearwater Valley
Hospital in Orofino from pneumonia. He was 79. Born
29
Jan.1928 he was the son of Roy Drake & Ida Guetzloe
&
a descendant of Ephram Conrad,a first settler in the
Kamiah Valley. He was an Army Vet.
Survivors include his sister Virginia Drake of
Kamiah,sister-in-law Doris Drake of Boise,ID.,nephew
&
family Greg Drake of Boise,neice Beth Anne Collins
of
Grangerville,ID.,Lloyd Bedwell of Kamiah & several
other family members in Kamiah & Lewiston,ID. Delmer
will be greatly missed by his family & friends.
Services will be held Friday 16 Nov.2007 at 3:00pm
at
the Faith Luthern Church in Kamiah with burial in
Kamiah Cemetery. A light meal will be provided at
the
church following the burial.

found out just recently that Delmer would have been
a
distant cousin of mine. His ancestor,Nathan John
Drake,was a nephew to my ancestor Thomas Drake born
1810 MD. Nathan John Drake was a son of George
Washington Drake & grandson of William Drake,Jr.
also. |
