MCCONNELSVILLE: Gladys M. Drake, 80, formerly of 43 N. 9th St.
McConnelsville passed away Sunday, October 24, 2010 at 11:35 a.m. at
the Highland Oaks Health Care in McConnelsville. She was born
February 22, 1930 in Plantsville to the late John Starling and Dora
Ellis Starling. Gladys was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Peggy Heiss and Rhonda Drake both
of McConnelsville; two sons, Ted (Sally) Drake of Carroll and Douglas
(Annette) Drake of Newark; four grandchildren and eight great
grandchildren; two step daughters, Jean (Roy) Schoonover of Ontario,
CA and Brenda Drake of England; two sisters, Dorothy (Robert)
Biendenbach of Beverly and Bessie Seevers of Marietta. Besides her
parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Milton S. Drake; a
brother, Frank Starling and a half brother, Ray Ellis. |
