This Indenture made the ninth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty four between John Antrobus and Isabell his wife of the County of Decatur and State of Indiana of the first part and Benjamin Drake of the County of Decatur and State aforesaid of the second part, witnesseth, that the said party of the first part in consideration of the sum of two hundred dollars of lawful money of the State of Indiana to them in hand paid by the said party of the second part the receipt where of is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained sold aligned enforced and confirmed and by these present do grant bargain sell alein inforce and confirm unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever. All that certain tract or parcel of land situated lying and being in the township of Washington in the County of Decatur and State aforesaid, and boundaries as follows to wit it being the east half of the north east quarter of section thirty, township eleven of range ten in the district of Brooksville and State of Indiana be the same more or less, together with all and singular the hereditaments and appurtenances there until reversion remainder and remainders rents issues and profits there of all the estate rights titles interest claim or demand whatsoever of the said party of the first part either in law or equity of in and to the above bargained premises with the said hereditaments and appurtenances to have and to hold the said premises above particularly mentioned and described to the said party of the second part his hears and assigns forever. And the said John Antrobus and Isabella his wife doth for their selves their heirs executors and administrators covenant and grant to and with the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns that they the said party of the first part are lawfully seized in fee of the aforesaid they granted premises that they are free from all incumbances that executors and administrators shall warrant and defend the same against all lawful demands of all persons. In witnesseth whereof the said John Antrobus and Isabella his wife have here unto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written in the presence of us.

The State of Indiana Decatur County Court

On this 25 day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty four, John Antrobus and Isabella his wife the grantor named in the foregoing deed of conveyance personally appeared before me one of the Justices of the peace in and for said County and surly acknowledged the signing and sealing of the same as their act and deed for the purposes therein expressed, and the said Isabella having been made known the Contents of said deed and having been examined separate and apart from her said husband as required by law touching the above deed, answered that she signed sealed and delivered the same of her own voluntary free will and accord without any coercion or compulsion of her said husband and that she thereby relinquished all rights and claims to dower in the said premises. In testimony where of I have here unto set my hand and seal this 25 day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty four.
