I, Benjamin Bean depose and say that I served by enlistment in Capt. Taylors company Col. Sticney's Regiment with Ephraim Drake in the year of 1777 two months in which two months we were in the Battle of Bennington where Even Stark commended the Brigade and I am certain said Ephraim Drake served two months under said enlistment.
