Dear Drake Listers,

In my earlier communique' I was not clear.  Here are the family records
about my Drake line, as recorded aboput 1925 from much older notes:

Elizabeth Drake, the wife of Lewis Vallandingham was born April 9th, 1770 in
Culpepper County' Virginia.  She died in Owen County,, Kentucky September
29th, 1851- She was the daughter of James Francis Drake.  Her children were
(See.Pension Record Above-- Never mind, I don't have this document).

James Francis Drake, father of Elizabeth Drake was born in England in
1750--was brought to the United States by his father, John Drake when an
infant, settled near Culpepper-Courthouse,.  Culpepper County, Virginia.
His (second) wife was Winnie mentioned in will taken from records in Clerk's
Office in Georgetown, Kentucky.  He moved to Scott County, Kentucky after
the Revolutionary War and settled on a farm on the (now) Cincinnati Pike,
six miles from Georgetown where he died In January 1818 (probably 1808).-

He (James Frances) had the following children:
Thomas Drake, Born in Culpepper County, Virginia-1768.
Elizabeth Drake, Born in Culpepper County,.  Virginia-1770-(1771)
Mary Drake (Polly) ---------------------------------

Thomas Drake married Racheal Peak in Scott County, Kentucky.

Elizabeth Drake, married Lewis Vallandingham.
