Samuel Shepard Ligon in Amelia Cty, VA on Nov 11, 1809 A daughter, Lucy Olive Ligon b. in Johnston Cty, NC on Nov 16, 1819 Lucy Olive Ligon m. Lemuel Hocutt in Johnston Cty, NC on Jan 11, 1841 Lemuel and Lucy Olive (Ligon) Hocutt are my Great grandparents. They moved to Rocky Point, in what is now Pender Cty, NC during the Civil War. They are both buried in Pender County.
