From: Shirley Maynard Subject: [DRAKE-L] Roll Call Date: Tuesday, September 21, 1999 5:12 AM Drake lines have been buzzing between cousins Alfred Drake, Larry Jordan, Charles Becherer and myself. We have found a lot of information in Greene Co., IN that proves our Simon and Patience GREGORY Drake family was a lot more complicated than we guessed. Simon Drake bonded to wed 1 May 1817 in Wake Co., NC, Patience Gregory. The Gregorys had some connection to the RICE family in NC, but what it is, we don't know yet. A third connection is to the PRITCHETT family from somewhere, the man who submitted all of the marriage information to the LDS for ordination and the CLARK family who stood as proxy at the Manti Temple in Utah. Fascinating research, but not really one to put on open line yet. Keep your fingers crossed, tho, that we 4 Drake cousins get everything connected. Shirley Maynard
