Hello All,

My great-great-great grandfather was William DRAKE. He was born in New Jersey
between about 1850 and 1860 and died in Lyons, Wayne Co., NY before 21 June 1826.
He was married to Mary ???? who apparently died before William because she is not
mentioned in his will. William and Mary had the following children, all born in New Jersey.

Permelia Drake b 2 May 1781, d 26 Aug 1855 in Chili, Monroe Co., NY.
+ John Stout m abt 1799.
Katharine Drake d bef. Apr 1826
+ Amos Stout m 31 Mar 1793 in NJ.
Aaron Drake
Gideon Drake b abt. 1782, d abt 1850 in Burnes, Shiawassee Co., MI
+ Maria Pope
Joab Drake b abt 1798, d 16 Mar 1853 in Palmyra, Wayne Co., NY
+ Susan ????
Nathan Drake b abt 1798, d 12 Nov 1866 in Arcadia, Wayne Co., NY
+ Mary ????
Susanna Drake
+ ???? Wikoof
Sarah Drake
+ ???? Beard
Francina (Fanny) Drake b abt 1798
+ Jacob Forgerson m abt 1816
Elizabeth Drake b 1788, d 1843
+ Abraham Knapp
Else Drake b 1783, d 6 Mar 1821 in Arcadia, Wayne Co., NY
+ Thomas Stafford m abt 1805.
Amos Drake b 16 Dec 1800, d 9 Jun 1873 in Amboy, Hillsdale Co, MI
+ Catherine ????

I have a church record from Hopewell, NJ that shows a William and Mary DRAKE
being dismissed from the church in 1802, so assuming this is them, that would be the
time they went to New York. I have been unable to find a record of a William DRAKE
who married a Mary around the 1780 timeframe in New Jersey. The was a William
DRAKE who married a Susannah Farnsworth and had a child named William DRAKE.
This William DRAKE was listed as underage in his fathers will that was proven in 1752.
I have no information on this William DRAKE, but he could be the right age and he was
in the right location. So this is my deadend. I have more information, so if you see a link,
drop me an e-mail.
