Hello to both Lisa and Michelle from Ruth.

I have been reading your records of Cornelius Drakes and wondering if any of them are linked to my Cornelius Roy Drake. It appears that Lisa's original Cornelius (born 9 Aug 1741) is certainly not Michelle's Cornelius (born 1781), nor is Lisa's Cornelius (son of Samuel) since his parents were not married until 1801. My Cornelius Roy was born in 1825.

However, since Lisa's Cornelius moved to Kentucky and Michelle's Cornelius was married in Kentucky and my Cornelius was born in Indiana (not too far from Kentucky), I'm wondering if there is a connection.

Specifically to Lisa: Do you have any records of Samuel Drake's children other than their names? It seems one of them (perhaps the child Cornelius) had a child also named Cornelius who might be my Cornelius Roy.

Is this confusing?

I posted the info I have on my Cornelius Roy on the Drake page yesterday, but if either of you would like a copy of it I will send it to you.

Ruth Osborn
