My Great-Great-Grandmother was Lovice Catherine DRAKE Daniel. She was born Abt. 1836 in Newton Co. GA. She apparently married my Great-Great-Grandfather, Joseph A. Daniel in the early to mid 1850's. They had 3 children, Andrew, born 1856 in GA; Sarah Jane, born 1858 in AL and Henry Alden Daniel, born 1860 in AL. He was my ggrandfather. Lovice is listed on the 1850 Newton Co. Census, living with Mary DRAKE and Charlott DRAKE. This was, apparently, the "Death Census" of Turner DRAKE. Does Anyone Know Anything about Lovice? Any Info would be Most Appreciated. |

Hi there Brenda and thanks for the message. There is plenty of documentation on the Drake family worldwide on my Drake website at; http://www.xroyvision.com.au/drake/drakepage.htm Best bet is to put your names into the search engine on the site at; http://www.xroyvision.com.au/search/search.pl the other thing to do is join Bill Olivers great Drake List. Instructions are at; http://www.xroyvision.com.au/drake/exchange.htm This is a discussion area for anyone who has an interest in the surname DRAKE and it's many spelling variations. If you are interested in exchanging information on your DRAKE ancestors or ask questions about them - this is the place for you. This may help you in your quest, regards, Roy Andrews drake website: http://www.xroyvision.com.au/drake/drakepage.htm
