Married Plina Francis Drake [no. 15], dau. of Archibald Jr. Drake [no. 30] and Celia Swift [no. 31], on 7 Dec. 1882 in Kansas when 23 years old (Plina Francis was twenty or 21 years old).

7 i.  dau. Pearl Bessie Frakes b. on 15 Aug. 1887, of Missouri, Jasper, Hornet.
ii.  dau. Minnie Mable Frakes b. in 1889 in Missouri; d. in 1915 in Missouri, 25 or 26 years old; m. Turner Andrew Hayes in 1907 in Missouri when seventeen or eighteen years old (Turner Andrew was 23 or 24 years old); issue:
Carl Turner Hayes (1911–), Don Hayes (1909–1985), Lula Pearl Hayes (1910–) and Elizabeth Hayes.

Listed as a laborer on 1900 census, Missouri. Died in a mining accident on 31 May, 1905.

married William H. McCulloch on June 8, 1907. Her mother, Celia Drake signed the marriage certificate as a witness. No children of this marriage. He had at least one son, Arthur by another marriage.
